About this scholarship

Virginia law requires UVA and other Virginia public colleges to provide grant assistance covering tuition, mandatory fees, housing and food for qualifying students formerly in foster care.

Who can apply

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalency and time spent in Virginia foster care after age 13. Review the full criteria with UVA Student Financial Services.
